Case study: RIF: No probe tenderness present. Appendix visualized, appears normal. No evidence of free fluid. Numerous enlarged mesenteric lymphnodes noted in the umbilical and bilateral para-umbilical region, largest measuring ~15 x 8 mm in the right with poorly maintained fatty hilum.

Conclusion: Numerous enlarged mesenteric lymphnodes in the umbilical and bilateral para-umbilical region as described. – Features in favour of diffuse mesenteric lymphadenopathy.
