Complaints: H/o neck swelling.

Introduction:

Case study:  A well defined solid hypoechoic lesion measuring ~12 x 10 mm noted in the superficial lobe of right parotid gland. No significant internal vascularity/calcification.

Conclusion: Well defined solid hypoechoic lesion in the superficial lobe of right parotid gland. – Features suggestive of Pleomorphic adenoma.

Complaints: H/o deviation of angle of mouth

Case study: Poorly defined scattered irregular hypodensities (max. 18HU) noted in the bilateral high parietal region involving the corona radiata and centrum semi ovale. – Features suggestive of acute/subacute infarct.

Conclusion: Poorly defined irregular hypodensities in the bilateral high parietal region as described. – Features in favour of acute/subacute infarct – showing watershed characteristics.No mass effect/midline shift/hemorrhagic transformation at present.

 

Splenunculus

Complaints: Incidental Finding during health check up.

Case study:  SPLEEN: The spleen measures 11.4 cm, is normal in contour and echotexture.A well defined round solid lesion showing similar echotexture to spleen measuring ~2.7 x 2.4 cm noted along the upper pole.

Craniopharyngioma

Age: 47

Sex: Female

Complaints: H/o left vision deficit.

Introduction:

Case study: A well defined solid lesion with peripheral hyperdensity in the sellar region measuring ~14 x 13 mm. Sagittally the lesion is seen extending into the pituitary fossa.

Conclusion: Well defined solid sellar mass measuring ~14 x 13 mm as described.

Possibilities include: 1. Pituitary macroadenoma.  2. Craniopharyngioma.

Suggested MRI contrast study for further evaluation.
